The Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee (RLM-PAC) has endorsed Bill Schuette for attorney general and Ruth Johnson for secretary of state in the general election. Both candidates have a history of passionately supporting and working to protect human life.
Bill Schuette has been previously endorsed by the RLM-PAC in his races for the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, the Michigan Senate and the Michigan Court of Appeals. While serving in the Michigan legislature, he worked on legislation to ban partial-birth abortion, restrictions on abortion facilities, protect children who survive abortion and prosecute criminals who attack pregnant women and their unborn children.
Ruth Johnson has been previously endorsed by the RLM-PAC in her races for the Michigan House, Oakland County clerk and lieutenant governor. While serving in the Michigan House, she worked on legislation to ban partial-birth abortion, protect infants who survive abortion and restrictions on abortion facilities.
Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing said, “We're glad to endorse two qualified and committed prolifers for the important positions of attorney general and secretary of state. Both candidates have a history of standing up for the voiceless and protecting the right to life.”
In addition to the endorsement for attorney general and secretary of state, hundreds of other general election endorsements have been made. The Right to Life of Michigan News will be mailed in September with all of the federal, state and local RLM-PAC endorsements. In addition, the RLM-PAC endorsements will be available on the Right to Life of Michigan web site, www.rtl.org.
