Hoogendyk Only Prolife Candidate in 6th Congressional Race

In the 6th Congressional race, only one candidate, Jack Hoogendyk, has been endorsed by the Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee.

Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee Director Larry Galmish said, "Jack Hoogendyk is the only candidate to receive the RLM-PAC endorsement in the 6th Congressional race.  While Jack's opponent  attempts to wear the prolife label, it is important to clarify Fred Upton is not endorsed by the state's largest prolife PAC."

The prolife issue is very important. Many voters review candidate information and look to see if Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee has made an endorsement. In the case of the 6th Congressional District seat, only Jack Hoogendyk meets the prolife requirements for endorsement. Fred Upton may claim to be prolife, but his votes to continue federal funding for Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, and Upton's support of human embryonic stem cell research show why he would not qualify for the RLM-PAC endorsement.

Galmish said, "I want to set the record straight, Jack Hoogendyk is the only Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee endorsed candidate for the 6th Congressional District."

Right to Life of Michigan is a non-partisan, nonsectarian, nonprofit organization of diverse and caring people united to peacefully protect the precious gift of human life from fertilization to natural death.
