Administrative Associate

Right to Life of Michigan is seeking a prolife committed individual for the position of Administrative Associate in Minority Outreach/Gift Planning to work from a home-based office in the metro Detroit area.

The qualified candidate will preferably have managerial experience along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, financial aptitude and the ability to work with volunteers and assist with major fund raising and community outreach events. The objective of this position is to assist and promote Right to Life of Michigan. The Administrative Associate reports directly to the Minority Outreach and Gift Planning Director. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits package. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Assist and consult with the Director of Minority Outreach/Gift Planning.
  2. Keep up-to-date records and submit monthly financial reports.
  3. Oversee, recruit and manage special project volunteers.
  4. Support and assist in major fund-raising and community outreach events.

  1. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  2. Professional demeanor.
  3. Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
  4. Ability to work in a home office environment and anticipate the needs of supervisor.
  5. Honest, trustworthy and friendly.
  6. A self-starter that is highly motivated and detail-oriented.
  7. Travel involved - must have valid drivers license.
