"Choose Life" License Plates

This bill would create a "Choose Life" license plate that residents of Michigan could purchase for their automobiles. In addition to the cost of a regular plate, this plate would cost an extra $5 service fee and an extra $25 donation. The donation money would be disbursed to not-for-profit organizations that provide services and counseling to women who have unexpected pregnancies. The money would not be distributed to agencies that provide abortion referrals or services.
