Right to Life of Michigan

Statewide Television Ads Save Lives

One of the many ways Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund works to save the lives of the unborn and provide the best solutions for pregnant women is through the power of broadcast media.

Beginning mid-October and airing for the following month, two of the Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund’s award winning television ads will be shown throughout Michigan.

The ads, “Night” and “Washing,” will air in several Michigan media markets during programming geared towards women. The ads attract the attention of those both considering abortion and those already hurt by a previous abortion.

The main feature of both Night and Washing communicate a message of regret following an abortion decision, but research has also shown that both serve as powerful reminders to women and families currently experiencing unplanned pregnancies.

Both ads feature a toll free hotline number, 800-57 WOMAN, which when called, immediately transfers the caller to a trained counselor at a local crisis pregnancy center nearest their calling location.

For this purpose, RLM Ed Fund operates a toll free number 24 hours per day, seven days per week and keeps a running, updated database of more than 100 crisis pregnancy centers throughout the state.

In addition to the two ads, RLM Ed Fund will also be airing ads in conjunction with NOEL, Inc., a national post abortive awareness organization. These two ads will run exclusively in the Detroit market for three weeks in October. These two ads, produced by the national production company, Virtue Media, will air in addition to our own ads and will also carry a toll free help number.

All four television ads, as with any broadcast television effort, will reach thousands upon thousands of women that would normally never have the chance to receive our message of hope and life!
