Adoption campaign helps women

New statewide media campaign will focus on adoption

For many women faced with an unexpected pregnancy, the bitter reality of choice quickly sets in. Lack of financial resources, family and peer support and knowledge about the value of the life inside them work together until too many feel as if they have really only one choice.

That is why, with your help, Right to Life of Michigan has worked against these odds to bring hope to thousands of women and families. By providing women with real and varied life affirming solutions to their untimely pregnancies, we have slowly begun to change the face of choice.

Over the years, our media campaigns have connected thousands of women to prolife pregnancy counselors. Continuing in that effort, Right to Life of Michigan is excited about a new project under way which focuses entirely on the benefits of adoption.

Beginning in January, Right to Life of Michigan plans to launch a statewide television effort which will draw much needed attention to the adoption choice. And, more importantly, the television ads and short film will provide women in crisis pregnancies with adoption information and assistance by connecting them to a variety of reputable adoption agencies and counselors throughout the state.

Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing said, "As a prolife organization, we need to be in the community consistently and lovingly providing women with life affirming alternatives to abortion. This campaign is just another way we hope to accomplish that."

The campaign, which will run throughout the early months of 2004, will need your prayers and contributions to succeed. Many people will get previews of the beautiful ads at one of the local RLM affiliate special events this fall.

Join RLM in the renewed pursuit to help support adoption and give young women throughout the state hope for their futures and the future of their children.
