Hoping on the bus

Bus trips to Washington, D.C., are now being planned for the March for Life 2007! The March for Life is a time for prolife people to gather and peacefully protest the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decisions, Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. January 22, 2007, will mark 34 years of abortion on demand.

Branch County – Branch Country Right to Life will be sponsoring a bus trip; the bus will leave Bronson on January 20 at 8 p.m. and returning by 6 a.m. on January 23. If you have questions or would like to register, please contact Jennie de Araujo at (517)369-2198 or sjenek@juno.com.

Clinton County – Clinton County Right to Life is organizing a bus trip for the March for Life. The trip will leave from Fowler on January 21 and return on the morning of January 23. For more information about this event, please contact Karen Schaefer at (989) 587-3319.

Grand Rapids – Grand Rapids Right to Life is organizing bus trips for the March for Life The pickup points for the Grand Rapids Right to Life’s bus trips will be in the Grand Rapids area and other parts of the state depending on registration numbers. Grand Rapids Right to Life offers a variety of options depending on how long you want to stay and when you want to leave. For more information, call Betty at (616) 531-0233.

Grand Traverse Area – Grand Traverse Area Right to Life will be hosting a bus trip for the March for Life. For more information, contact Grand Traverse Right to Life at (231) 946-9469.

Lansing – Students for Life of Michigan are organizing a bus trip for prolife college students from across the state of Michigan to attend the March for Life. The trip will leave Lansing on the afternoon of January 19 and return the morning of January 23. For more information about this trip, contact Joanie Barrett at barrett@sflmichigan.org.

Southeast Michigan – Right to Life of Michigan will be sponsoring two bus trips which will leave from southeast Michigan. One trip will be the traditional red-eye trip which will leave from pick-up points in Warren, Lincoln Park, and Ann Arbor while the other trip is an overnight trip that leaves from St. John Center for Youth and Family in Plymouth.
