Oratory contests slated throughout Michigan

The Fifteenth Annual High School Oratory contest, sponsored by Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund, will be held Saturday, May 15, 2004, at the Best Western Midway Hotel in Lansing.

To participate, high school students, grades nine through 12, must compete at the local level with Right to Life of Michigan affiliates. Local contests are scheduled in late winter through early spring. Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing said, "We must offer teens the chance to learn and share prolife truths. When informed and motivated, young people have a wealth of energy and enthusiasm to bring to the prolife movement."
