January activities planned throughout Michigan
Right to Life of Michigan and its affiliates have planned numerous
events across the state to mourn the more than 43 million lives which
have been lost since 1973. Prayer vigils, programs for reflection,
marches, memorial services and prolife rallies are just a few of the
many types of events planned on and around January 22, 2004.
These events, while looking back at the immeasurable loss brought
on by 31 years of legalized abortion, help prolifers renew their efforts
and hope for the future.
Right to Life of Michigan and its affiliates have also organized
bus trips to Washington, D.C. so Michigan's prolifers have the opportunity
to join with others from across the country to participate in the
31st annual March for Life. Prolife people peacefully march from the
Washington Monument to the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Buses are leaving from many different spots including Branch County,
Brighton, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Plymouth, Southeast Michigan and
Traverse City.
