Shine the Light of Life

Luminaries have traditionally been used as memorials for the unborn on January 22. Due to the increased interest and requests for holiday luminaries, they are already available.

Many churches, groups, and private individuals have chosen to “let their light shine for life” during the holiday season as well as on the eve of January 22, the anniversary of the day the devastating Roe vs. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision was handed down. Listed below are just a few ways the luminaries may be used:

• position one or more on the front porch of your home
• define your driveway or sidewalk by lining them with luminaries
• encircle your church with luminaries

Candle kits include one candle, a white paper bag imprinted with the words “Choose Life” in burgundy, and complete instructions.
