George W. Bush presidential win challenged
In a General Election unlike any other election in the history
of the United States, George W. Bush won the presidency with 271
of the Electoral College votes 19 days after the November 7 election.
As the world watched anxiously, prolife people were also concerned
with the final result knowing that the next president would either
respect the lives of the yet-to-be-born or search for new avenues
to destroy the most vulnerable human beings, unborn children.
Thankfully, the prolife candidate won. George W. Bush has been
an outspoken advocate for the unborn. Many unborn children will
someday appreciate that prolife people worked tirelessly to put
George W. Bush in the White House.
While Al Gore contests the results of the election, prolife people
are hopeful that Bush will remain president elect and be sworn
into office on January 20, 2001.
