Right to Life of Michigan Education Fund begins adoption campaign

Monday, January 19, marked the beginning of Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund’s statewide television campaign encouraging adoption. Airing throughout the state for a total of 10 weeks, three 30 second television ads promote adoption and give women and their loved ones an opportunity to call a toll free number for information about adoption and a list of non profit adoption agencies in Michigan.

Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund has been researching and compiling a list of reputable, licensed, non profit adoption agencies in Michigan to have available for women and men who call the hotline seeking adoption information.

The Answer, Courage and Mother of My Child, were produced by the Grand Rapids based advertising agency Hanon-McKendry this past summer and have been promoted at Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund affiliate special events across the state. The first two ads carry Right to Life of Michigan Ed Fund’s toll free crisis line number, 1-800-57WOMAN.

Two of the ads, The Answer and Courage, feature young women struggling with untimely pregnancies and present positive images of adoption decisions. The third ad, Mother of My Child, features a collage of women expressing gratitude for the gift of their adopted child and gratefulness to the women who fulfilled a loving adoption plan for their child.

The adoption television campaign will air on most network television stations across the state including NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, UPN and WB. Additional cable stations have also been purchased throughout the Detroit viewing area. Watch for the ads to appear throughout late January, February and March on daytime talk shows, situation comedies and early and late news programs.
