Pope John II Now and Forever Fund
To commemorate the Silver Jubilee of a true champion of life, Right to
Life of Michigan wishes to celebrate and honor Pope John Paul II. A special
and permanent fund has been established as part of the Right to Life of
Michigan Educational Endowment Fund. The Pope John Paul II Now and Forever
Fund is a wonderful opportunity for prolife advocates to honor the Pope’s
courageous witness as he continues to defend and protect the dignity of
every human life from conception until natural death.
Gifts help to build the RLM Educational Endowment Fund for the future life-affirming work of the Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund. The RLM Educational Endowment Fund never spends the corpus of your gift; rather, it is invested and creates interest. Over time, that interest is used to fund our educational projects -- our ads, literature, etc. In essence, it’s the gift that keeps on giving year after year.
Pope John Paul II’s prolife witness has not gone unnoticed among the
great leaders of the world. President George W. Bush, at the dedication
of the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center at Catholic University in Washington,
D.C., on March 22, 2001, said:
“The Pope reminds us that while freedom defines our nation, responsibility
must define our lives. He challenges us to live up to our aspirations,
to be a fair and just society where all are welcomed, all are valued,
and all are protected. And he is never more eloquent than when he speaks
for a culture of life. The culture of life is a welcoming culture, never
excluding, never dividing, never despairing and always affirming the goodness
of life in all its seasons....
Always, the Pope points us to the things that last and the love that saves.
