Right to Life of Michigan

Sometimes miracles come in small sizes, really small

The birth of a child is always a miracle, but for Tabitha Lynn Drews it was a very special miracle. Tabitha was born 12 weeks early weighing 1 pound and 10.3 ounces. Tabitha's head was the size of a plum, her hand was like a thumbprint, her nails were like pin tops and her eyes were still fused shut. Tabitha's parents, Robin and Dawn, were told that their daughter had a 50/50 chance of survival. From the beginning, Tabitha's strong will and determination to live was very apparent.

Recently Tabitha celebrated her first birthday. Tabitha is strong and progressing like any other child her age. Her parents, two older sisters and one older brother celebrate Tabitha's life.

Robin and Dawn chose life for Tabitha. "I'm so glad we decided to give her the right to life. To see her now, she is a pure blessing in every way," Dawn said.
