The Abortion Reporting Act

Effective Date: September 30, 1978

This act requires any physician who performs an abortion fill out and transmit a report to the Michigan Department of Community Health within 7 days after the performance of the abortion. The report shall include a variety of information for statistical purposes from the gestation of the fetus to the age and race of the woman, but will not compromise the privacy of the woman.
