Abortion Conscience Clause

This legislation protects hospitals, clinics, institutions, and other health facilities and individual health care workers from prosecution, lawsuit, or job discrimination if they refuse to perform or aid in abortion. A civil action for negligence or malpractice or a disciplinary or discriminatory action may not be maintained against a person refusing to give advice as to, or participating in an abortion.
