ABOUT THE RLM LEGISLATIVE OFFICE
Right to Life of Michigan (RLM) has been involved in Michigan
legislative issues since the mid-1970's. In 1979 RLM's legislative
office was established in the state's capitol city, Lansing. The
office is managed by a full-time legislative director/lobbyist
and staffed with a full-time legislative liaison and an executive
secretary.
The Legislative Office's responsibilities include serving as
liaison between Right to Life of Michigan and state government,
developing and advocating for the passage of prolife legislation,
monitoring and defeating anti-life measures, and co-ordinating
grassroots citizen lobbying activities. The office serves as an
important source of information on prolife legislation and legal
issues.
We always welcome grassroots' interaction and comments at
the Legislative Office which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
