Right
to Life of Michigan Educational Fund's continuing media campaign
uses the power of the mass media to influence our culture. Recently,
it has been said that Americans are living in the "culture
of death." It is the purpose of our television advertisements
to use our voice to instill a value to life in the Michigan television
viewing audience and, through LifeMedia, to viewers across the
country.
In
1994, Right to Life of Michigan Ed Fund developed two ads, labeled
"Eyes"
and "Seed" that gave emotionally compelling reasons
to value life. These spots were found to be, through public opinion
polling, "effective in communicating their message - that
to choose life is the right thing to do."
Also in 1994, two additional ads were developed in response
to abortion clinic violence. Right to Life of Michigan Educational
Fund and its supporters felt it was imperative to say that there
is no justification for any murder, inside or outside of abortion
clinic walls. Since then, more than an additional 20 ads have
been created ranging from image, crisis pregnancy, post abortion
outreach, partial birth abortion, assisted suicide and more.
