CHIPPEWA COUNTY CLINTON COUNTY Clinton County Right to Life is having a candlelight service on the steps of the Clinton County Courthouse in St. Johns, MI. This service is being held on Saturday January 19,2008, at 6:15 p.m. This will be a short service with a song a few words and prayer. DELTA COUNTY Delta County Right to Life will be hosting a community-wide prayer service at St. Anne Church in Escanaba on Wednesday, January 23, at 7 p.m. in rememberance of the infamous Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade. During the month of January, a billboard will be on the corner of Ludington and North Thirtieth Streets promoting the prolife message. DICKINSON COUNTY Dickinson County Right to Life members are inviting the public to participate in the Walk For Life on January 20 at 1:15 p.m. The walk will begin at the Kingsley North parking lot and proceed to the Court House for a word of prayer, continuing down Stephenson to Hardee's on the North Side. Additional parking is available at the St. Vincent DePaul store and the River Valley Bank on W "B" Street. We would like to call attention to those who lost their lives in the last 35 years. They could not fight back. They were not part of a military group. They were developing persons in the wombs of women across the United States. Some of these women did not want an abortion, but were coerced by boy friends, parents, and grandparents into having an abortion. Please join us in a solemn walk as a commitment to end the senseless death of millions who cannot defend themselves. Join our Walk For Life January 20 along Stephenson Avenue. A bus will be available for the return trip. GENESEE COUNTY Members and supporters will conduct a prayer service at the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle located at 1031 Darling St. in Flint at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22. The public is welcome to attend. GRAND RAPIDS On January 20, 2008, Grand Rapids Right to Life will be holding a prayer walk and memorial service. The prayer walk will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Omega House (located at 326 E. Fulton) and participants will walk past an abortion clinic to St. Andrew's Cathedral for the memorial service. Individuals interested in participating in the prayer walk should park and meet at St. Andrew's Cathedral (located at 267 Sheldon SE) and a shuttle will transport participants to the Omega House. It has now been 35 years and over 50 MILLION unborn children destroyed. Our Memorial Motorcade assembles in the parking lot behind Jackson Catholic Middle School, 915 Cooper St. at 10 a.m. The procession of cars led by a hearse leaves the lot at 10:30 a.m. and proceeds through town ending at St. John’s cemetery at the Tomb of the Unborn where a short wreath laying ceremony takes place. On Sunday, January 20, 2008, Warren/Centerline Right to Life has planned an Interfaith Memorial Service to prayerfully commemorating the 35th year of legalized abortion in America. MUSKEGON COUNTY A "March and Rally for Life" will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008. COUNTY WAYNE COUNTY Please join Riverview Right to Life at the First Presbyterian Church in Trenton. This church will host, for its 10th year, the annual Sanctity of Human Life Rally; Sunday January 20, at 2 p.m. The program will begin with a Life March on West Rd, near the church followed by a program inside the sanctuary with guest speakers, drama, and music. WESFORD/MISSAUKEE COUNTIES Wexford/Missaukee Right to Life will hold a silent march on Sunday, January 20, at 2p.m. We will gather at the Wesleyan Church (formerly called Crossroads Community Church), 115 Cobb Street in Cadillac. We will begin our march there and proceed to Mt. Carmel Cemetery where 65 crosses will be erected. Each cross will represent the life of one of the 65 unborn babies aborted in Wexford & Missaukee counties in 2006.
