Planned Parenthood's Trap

Planned Parenthood is a profitable non-profit organization whose numerous abortion clinics are sustained by government funding.

Planned Parenthood fights against virtually every piece of prolife legislation including current legislation which attempts to ban partial-birth abortion in Michigan. The web site of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan notes,

"For many years in Michigan, we have led the nation in passing anti-choice laws to limit access to abortions through waiting periods, parental consent laws, bans on specific procedures, clinic regulations and the procurement of state-prepared materials. This has not resulted in reducing the number of abortions. It is time to stop passage of further laws that restrict women's ability to make their own personal medical decisions."

Planned Parenthood falsely claims the passage of prolife laws in Michigan hasn't "resulted in reducing the number of abortions" despite the fact that abortions in Michigan have decreased nearly 50% since 1987.

Planned Parenthood works to protect abortionists like Alberto Hodari. Hodari was recently taped at a Wayne State University event in Detroit telling students that abortionists have a license to lie and describing how little he washed his hands. Hodari is also responsible for the 2004 death of Tamiia Russell. Tamiia was a 15-year-old girl from Detroit who died after Hodari performed an abortion on her. Hodari never reported this death to Michigan Department of Community Health.
