LifeChestRight to Life of Michigan wants to help educators provide their students with a genuine appreciation for the gift of life. To do so, we have compiled Life Chest Activity Guides for three different age groups. Life Chest is a set of curriculum and materials provided for schools, day cares, sunday school classes which are designed to help students grow up with positive self-esteem and a respect for human life. Each activity guide has a theme and concepts to teach at every grade level. In addition, each Life Chest activity guide outlines the variety of resources Right to Life of Michigan can lend for each age group, including videos, books, brochures and visual aids. Curriculum is developed for kindergarten-3rd Grade, 4th -6th Grades and 7th-12th Grades. Learn more about LifeChest by visiting the age-specific activity guides below. Teen BreaksResearch results have shown that a person's values are established between the ages of 10-20. With Generation Y now 60 million strong, reaching these teens and young adults is a great opportunity for influencing culture with a consistent life value. Having surpassed all other forms of research and study aids, the Internet is now the first stop for students searching for information and also for human connection. Teenbreaks.com exists to provide both accurate information about relationships, pregnancy and abortion as well as host a variety of discussion topics for teens eager to discover how other teens are feeling. Prolife student contests and scholarshipsHigh School Oratory Contest Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund's annual high school oratory contest is open to all prolife high school students in Michigan. Contestants give a 5-7 minute speech on one of several prolife topics. Local contests are sponsored by affiliates across the state in the spring, followed by a state contest for local winners. MORE Outstanding Prolife Youth Award Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund will award a scholarship in May to one outstanding prolife high school senior in Michigan. Selection criteria include an essay and past participation in prolife activities. MORE Dream Series Coloring BookBelow are PDF files of the Dream Series Coloring Book which can be downloaded and printed for children to use.
