Meghan's Journey Meghan Marie Salter came into the world on October 16, 2002. For the first three weeks, she ate, grew, slept, and did everything a healthy, happy baby would do. Then her health started to change during the second week of November. The Salter family reflects the reality of the sanctity of all human life. There is a duty for the strong to defend the weak. We must make the choice to respect all human life with no exceptions. Life After 40 campaign concludes, work continuesLife After 40, a Right to Life of Michigan educational campaign showcasing the growth and development of unborn babies, came to a close on January 22, the 40th memorial of Roe v. Wade. For 40 weeks, a fact about life before birth was shared every week on the Right to Life of Michigan website, blog and social networking profiles. The posts encouraged people to be a voice for those without one by sharing a factual snippet each week about the reality of life in the womb with their social connections. 40th March for Life turnout inspiresHundreds of thousands of prolifers from across the country braved icy roads and snow for the 40th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., on January 25. Marchers protested the 1973 Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton U.S. Supreme Court decisions and mourned the loss of 55 million unborn children to abortion since those rulings.
