Now is the time to be involved
As Thomas Jefferson stated,
“The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction,
is the first and only legitimate object of good government.”
To properly participate in the success
of our local, state and federal governments, we must be involved and keep
our representatives informed on important issues. Those who have the ability
and privilege to pass legislation need to know from their constituents
the importance of prolife legislation. Writing, calling and visiting lawmakers
will provide public servants with the needed input for important votes.
For so many babies, their lives depend
on the work of the prolife community. Please contact your representatives
in government and voice your prolife thoughts and expectations. Keep this
useful contact information for elected officials as a guide. Keeping in
touch will make a difference for life!
For updates on prolife legislation, visit the Right to Life of Michigan
web site at www.rtl.org and sign up for LifeLink. Lifelinks are e-mail
messages which offer timely, concise information on key prolife matters.
These updates will help keep you informed with what’s going on in
the prolife world. Also, calling the Legislative Office at 517/487-3376
is a great way to keep up-to-speed with activities in Lansing.
Keeping in touch with President Obama
Whether you want to contact President
Barack Obama about pending federal legislation or share your love for
all human life, born and unborn, our president said he “is committed
to creating the most open and accessible administration in American history.”
Be encouraged to let our voice be
heard often!
